It's always exciting when you get asked to contribute work for nFOCUS Magazine. I was excited to find out it was Luxury Realtor Portraits for their supplemental insert that would be included with their May 2022 issue.

Photographing for e-commerce doesn't have to be complicated! Each brand, or company, may vary on how they wish to have their images taken for the web. You can never go wrong with clean and even light for product shots.

When using off-camera flash, modifiers are great for shaping and manipulating the light, but they aren't always necessary. A bare bulb, or unmodified flash, can be great to fill in shadows and even get in tight spaces.

I've wanted to work with Nashville-based model, Rollson Royce, for quite some time. We finally had a chance to get together early on in 2021 and I wanted to capture as much as we could in the time we had to create together.

Doing test shoots are a great way to work through new concepts, or lighting setups, without having the pressure of being on a time-sensitive paid shoot. Test shoots also help you stay fresh and add some personal projects to your portfolio. One of the looks that I did during my shoot with Kasanna was inspired by simple old Hollywood glamor portraits, but with a modern vibe.
