Human Rights Campaign Dinner: Love Travels Portraits for LGBTQ+ Advocacy
The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Dinner in Washington, D.C. was a truly remarkable event, celebrating milestones for LGBTQ+ rights and honoring those making a significant impact. This annual gathering is always a powerful display of community, and I was thrilled to be part of it. This year's dinner was set against an incredible backdrop created by Amanda Dease of Studio Dease, perfectly aligned with Marriott's Love Travels campaign, emphasizing inclusion and the power of love.
At this event, my role was to capture Vanity Fair-style portraits of the attendees, adding a touch of glamour to the already elegant evening. Amanda’s beautifully crafted set provided a visually stunning environment that truly helped bring out the personality of each guest.
I was fortunate to have my friend and fellow photographer, Anthony Romano from Anthony Romano Creative, join me as an assistant, which ensured everything went smoothly. With the help of an amazing local team, we were able to capture moments that reflected the joy, pride, and spirit of the evening.
