I recently had the pleasure of working on a photography project for Your Williamson magazine's gentleman's edition. They reached out with a vision for an iconic photo of a father and son silhouetted next to a lake, capturing a serene moment of the father teaching his son to fish. Since the magazine is called Your Williamson, we chose one of the most iconic Williamson County spots, Harlinsdale Farm. The location was perfect for this vibe, offering a picturesque lakeside setting that exuded tranquility and timelessness. While we were shooting, some ducks made occasional appearances, adding a charming, natural element to the scene. However, the final image chosen for the cover didn't include the ducks, so I used some Photoshop trickery to incorporate them in a realistic way, enhancing the overall composition.

Working with Your Williamson is always a rewarding experience, and this project was no exception. The shoot allowed me to explore various angles and lighting conditions, resulting in some truly memorable images. Although not all of them made it to the cover, I have several favorites that I'm excited to share. These additional images capture the essence of the shoot, reflecting the calm and intimate connection between father and son by the lake.
