Fresh Faces of Philanthropy
Getting to photograph the cover and full editorial feature for nFocus Magazine’s June 2025 issue was such an honor. This wasn’t just a beautiful fashion story—it was a celebration of purpose-driven people making waves across Nashville. The Fresh Faces of Philanthropy feature highlights a powerhouse group of young leaders who are pouring their time, heart, and talent into nonprofits that are shaping our city for the better. We created each portrait at OZ Arts Nashville, layering bold color, elegant movement, and meaningful space to reflect the impact each person is making.
I had the joy of photographing Crystal Churchwell Evans (Nashville Ballet), Kayla Clayborne Counts (Horticultural Society of Middle Tennessee), Fred Crumbo (Adventure Science Center), Ann Waller Curtis (OZ Arts Nashville), Virginia Fitzgerald (The Michael J. Fox Foundation), Morgan Huelsman (Abe’s Garden Community), Hayley Levy Kupin (CASA + National Council of Jewish Women), and Mamie Murphy (Swan Ball). I also captured a portrait of the three women featured in the Nashville Symphony Fashion Show coverage—every image a little window into their light and legacy. These are the kinds of stories I live for—where photography becomes a way to elevate and connect.
