Photographing the YouTube Creator Collective event at Cross-Eyed Critters at The Graduate Hotel in Nashville was an absolute blast. The atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone enjoying the night, especially during the karaoke sessions, which undoubtedly became the highlight. Being solo on this shoot didn't deter me from aiming for some standout portraits. I chose to use ONE LIGHT, which was my Godox AD200 and a 46" Photek Umbrella, randomly pulling attendees aside to capture some cool and candid moments. The energy in the room was infectious, making it a memorable experience.

One of the most exciting parts of the night was unexpectedly running into Mandy Brooke, someone I've admired and followed for a couple of years. Mandy's humor and personality added an extra layer of fun to the event. I couldn't pass up the chance to take her portrait, capturing her lively essence amidst the backdrop of a lively night. The combination of engaging conversations, spontaneous photoshoots, and the thrill of karaoke made the YouTube Creator Collective event truly unforgettable.
