Cooking Up Simple Food Photos

Food photography doesn't need to be complicated! Personally, I love working with just one light. Even when shooting outside! While natural light is great, adding in some artificial light makes things pop. My client, Boston Commons in Nashville Tennessee, was looking to update the images on their website and in their menu. It's such a fun atmosphere, and fantastic food, so the images needed to reflect that. Keeping things bright and inviting not only made the food stand out and look super tasty, but it also set the tone for the images used by the restaurant moving forward. If you're a photographer and haven't added artificial light into your process, let's chat! It's far from scary and makes you more versatile with your craft.
